The video testimonials of residents who lives have been so positively changed by our sector makes all the daily stress and challenges we face as an industry worthwhile. We are proud to be part of a constantly challenging sector that makes such a difference to people all over the UK. "Stroma Certification were proud to attend this year's Energy Efficiency and Retrofit Awards in Birmingham. Since attending the first event in 2014, I have found the awards to be well organised and a great venue to meet with key people within the industry and celebrate the successes of those involved. Winning the Award for National Certification Body of the year, and meeting Joanna Lumley was a great experience.
It's fair to say that this year the awards excelled in building on last year's event and even surpassing it. The after dinner speaker (Dara O'Briain) and Awards Present (Joanna Lumley) were both fantastic, as was the food and entertainment.
I found it a perfect venue to make new contacts which have opened up plenty of exciting new opportunities for Stroma Certification."
- Andrew Parkin, Technical Manager Stroma Certification

"Peterborough City Council are delighted to have been awarded the National Council of the Year at the Energy Efficiency and Retrofit Awards 2016. Councillor Gavin Elsey, Cabinet Member for Waste and Streetscene said 'this award is firm recognition of our efforts to address fuel poverty within the city, by reducing energy bills through free solar PV and promoting a white label community energy tariff in Peterborough Energy'. "- Andy Cox, Peterborough City Council

"I would like to thank you for being pioneering by doing something positive, by recognising the hard work and effort businesses are doing to reduce fuel poverty and carbon footprint in the UK."- Wayne Francis , Green Deal Advisor, Total Energy Efficiency Ltd

"We are delighted to have been able to support this event, which recognises the fantastic work the energy efficiency sector is doing to fight fuel poverty. The awards are in line with our company vision for the future, which is that everyone, everywhere in the world should have access to energy at any time. Fronius is working towards a future where a mix of renewable energy sources will cover 100% of these energy needs. We can only make this a reality by all pulling together and that is what these awards are all about: implementing schemes to help home and business owners with affordable energy as well as pushing best practice within the industry.
The awards are a great reminder of why we all work in this industry and why we must continue despite a difficult period with the recent reduction of many energy initiatives. Fronius UK congratulates all the winners and runners up in every category of the National Energy Efficiency and Retrofit Awards. We would also like to say a massive thank you to the event organisers, who put together a thoroughly enjoyable evening from start to finish. We were thrilled to see none other than national treasure, Joanna Lumley, presenting the awards - the perfect person for the job. Additionally we laughed hard at comedic talent Dara O'Briain and danced all night to the sounds of RJP band. We couldn't have asked for a more gratifying evening and we very much look forward to next year's awards"
- Kim Wharton, Marketing Team Leader Fronius UK Ltd

Great event in itself and good for networking, very well organised and even though we didn't win an award it was worth the effort, our nominee attended with us and I would like to pass on his thanks as he had the opportunity to meet Joanna Lumley again after a 50 year lapse, would happily attend again next year."- Graeme Buck, Naturalgen

"- Guy Ransom, Commercial Director Finn Geotherm UK Ltd

"Recently I was kindly invited by Gary Braybrooke to be the guest speaker at the 2016 awards ceremony held at the Hilton Metropole Birmingham. The event was created by Gary and a few well-minded others to recognise high performance of individuals, companies and industry at large in their efforts to improve the quality of life, comfort and warmth for people through home improvements. Now I'm fortunate to have been to a few awards ceremonies over the years but one thing struck me about this one that perhaps I was a little surprised by. Often these events are organised by big companies, media publications or someone trying to (not always subliminally) get their own message across as well as recognise the genuine efforts of the award nominees and winners. I can honestly say that there was no such 'vibe' at these awards and it was evident that Gary and his team are passionate about improving the existing housing stock in the UK in a way that ordinary members of the public can benefit through lower energy costs and improved health through being kept warm in their homes."- Keith Horgan, OFGEM

The awards have continued to grow from strength to strength and are a great reminder of the worthwhile causes and challenges that we are faced with throughout the UK. Gary and the team have done an excellent job in putting together a thoroughly enjoyable and well organised evening. It was a great atmosphere to see all the companies come together and celebrate what has been a fantastic year of achievements. We cant wait to see you all again next year!"- Rachael Doyle Marketing Manager , Wetherby Building Systems Ltd
