UK-GBC represents over 400 members from across the construction and property sectors and campaigns for a sustainable built environment.Richard leads on domestic retrofit for UK-GBC, who have taken an active role in developing the Green and continue to act as a forum for continued dialogue between industry and government.

Carl Harvey works as an independent retrofit coordinator at My Home Survey Ltd, a business that Carl established in 2006 and now delivers a full suite of retrofit coordination services including Pulse air permeability testing, and as the senior retrofit coordinator at Osmosis ACD Ltd overseeing the PAS 2035 process within the business and promoting best practice in the industry.

Gregory Elliott

Gregory Elliott is Property Services Director for Vibrant Energy Matters, the largest EPC supplier in the UK carrying out over 160K instructions per year. He hass been involved in the EPC industry from conception, with over 10 years in the property sector and overseen many changes. The most exciting has being within the energy sector, having worked with Birmingham Council with the first go early EPC scheme in 2007 to one of the first Green Deal Advise Reports. Experience gained from working with most of the Big Six energy companies on several ECO projects has given him both insight and an understanding on the opportunity that ECO and the Green Deal brings to the industry.

Andrew Burke
Policy Officer , National Housing Federation
Andrew is an Architect with extensive experience in energy efficiency and housing. He worked for a local authority research and development group on energy efficiency and solar water heating demonstration projects before working in central government on fuel poverty, building regulations, energy and construction research. He joined the Federation at the beginning of 2010 to lead on asset management, with a particular emphasis on refurbishing, retrofitting and greening existing homes. Andrew also leads the Federation's technical work on the design, construction, maintenance and improvement of housing and has been closely involved in the Government's Housing Standards Review.

Prof Bill Gething, MA (Cantab) Dipl Arch RIBA
Sustainability & Architecture, Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA)
Bill Gething is Professor of Architecture at the University of the West of England and a practicing architect and sustainability consultant.
He was the RIBA President's Sustainability Advisor from 2003 to 2009 and has worked with the Energy Savings Trust on addressing the challenges of insulating hard to treat homes. -

Claire Curtis-Thomas became Chief Executive of The British Board of Agrement (BBA) in May 2013. Her industry experience was gained with Shell UK and Birmingham City Council Laboratories before becoming Dean of the Engineering and Business Department of the University of Wales, Newport.Until 2010 Claire was the elected Member of Parliament for Crosby, and was Chief Executive of The Institution of Gas Engineers and Managers (IGEM) prior to joining the BBA.

Daniel has been involved in both contracting and obligation delivery over the last 15 years and has substantial experience of the current ECO obligation and the previous CERT and CESP obligations.Having worked previously in Electrical, Heating and Renewable Contracting and after several years working with utilities delivering CERT & CESP, Daniel joined Hamilton (Building Contractors) Limited, to continue their growth in the Solid Wall Insulation market. Hamilton's have been at the forefront of the SWI market for over 18 years and in 2013 alone delivered External Wall Insulation to almost 4,000 properties in the UK.

David Cox

David Cox joined the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) as Managing Director Designate in January 2014. He has a strong policy and stakeholder engagement background, having held previous senior policy roles at the National Landlords Association (NLA) and the International Union of Property Owners (UIPI). A trained barrister, David has also acted as Parliamentary Advisor to a well-known backbench MP.

Emma manages the Sustainable Energy Association's ECO and Green Deal activity. The SEA has worked on the Green Deal from its inception, originally as a DECC Secondee. Emma is a member of the ECO Steering Group, Green Deal Secondees Group, and the Green Deal APPG.She also works for the energy consultancy, Ecuity, with recent work on the RHI, Building Regulations, and Community Energy. Until 2011, Emma worked in finance; she believes economic analysis is key to securing Government support for policy.

Lawrence has been involved with the energy industry since the late 1990's, prior to the creation of Energy UK, he ran the Energy Retail Association.
At Energy UK Lawrence has specific executive responsibility for all energy supply activities including Retail Markets, Smart Metering and Grids, Energy Efficiency and consumer engagement
Prior to the Energy Retail Association, Lawrence ran the Society of Petroleum Engineers where, as Regional Managing Director he greatly expanded the society's operations in the emerging energy markets of Russia, the Caspian and Africa. Before this, Lawrence served as Deputy Chief Executive and Technical Director of the Energy Institute in London. -
Maria Wardrobe, BSc
Director of External Affairs, National Energy Action (NEA)
Maria is currently Director of External Affairs with national fuel poverty charity NEA, responsible for a team which develops and delivers NEA's Policy Services, Research, Campaigns and Public Affairs, Fundraising and Sponsorship, Publicity, Marketing, Media, Events and Membership services within the organisation.Maria has extensive experience of campaigning at a national level, organising and speaking at regional and national events and broadcasting on local and national radio and TV. She is responsible for the Secretariat for the All-Party Fuel Poverty and Energy Efficiency Group (FPEEG) and is Chair of the Age Action Alliance Safe Warm Homes Working Group.
Maria has worked for NEA for 20 years. She is also a Trustee of the British Gas Energy Trust.

Mark is Head of Energy at Wates Living Space, and has worked in the energy sector for over 30 years. Having held positions ranging from Service Engineer to Managing Director, Mark has expert sector knowledge and understanding, having been responsible for overseeing £1.5bn of energy efficiency work in the private and public, domestic and commercial sectors during his career. With extensive government, energy market engagement and contractual experience, Mark leads the energy team at Wates Living Space as it seeks to expand its work with registered housing providers and local authorities. Mark currently leads Wates Living Space's on-going programme of energy efficiency retrofit solutions in order to tackle the root causes of fuel poverty, and reduce carbon emissions from the nation's building stock.

Mark has worked in senior Sales and Marketing roles within the Construction Products sector for the past thirty years. Mark is now Head of Business Development for Alsecco, a major supplier of facades solutions and part of the International DAW Group. Mark has been actively involved for many years in the Energy Efficiency and Retrofit sector and was Chair of SWIGA, the solid wall industry guarantee scheme during its inception. Mark is presently acting Vice-Chair of INCA, the leading External Wall Insulation trade association. Cycling, football and his family are what keep Mark sane out of working hours.

Neil is the Chief Executive of the National Insulation Association which represents the manufacturers and installers of cavity wall insulation, external wall insulation, internal wall insulation, loft insulation and draught proofing.He had previously held a number of senior management positions at British Gas in the areas of marketing, business development, energy efficiency, fuel poverty and corporate responsibility.
He is a member of the Trade Association Forum Steering Group, Energy Efficiency Partnership for Buildings, British Energy Efficiency Federation, ECO Steering Group, Green Deal Installer Forum, Green Deal Advisory Group, and Green Deal Skills Alliance Expert Advisory Group.

Richard Lambert

Richard Lambert joined the National Landlords Association as Chief Executive Officer in October 2011. He began his career as a parliamentary civil servant in the House of Commons, where over 10 years he worked on Select Committees, various aspects of the legislative process and interparliamentary affairs. Following a brief spell in commercial lobbying, he moved into trade associations, spending five years as the Policy Director covering residential issues at the British Property Federation, then becoming Chief Executive of the British Woodworking Federation in 2002. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a former Chairman of the National Training Organisation, Housing Potential.

Rob Wellman has recently retired from the role of Network Operations Manager with the National Skills Academy of Environmental Technologies. Rob played a key national role within SummitSkills in the early development of the SummitSkills Environmental Strategy, from which the concept and development of the National Skills Academy evolved to develop training provision to meet the skills requirements of the DECC Microgeneration Strategy and European Directive 2009/28/EC Installation of Renewable Energy.With a wide range of experience within the sector, initially having completed a Plumbing Apprenticeship,as Plumber, Engineer, Contract Manager, Designer and Estimator before moving into education.
Within education lecturing and management roles included Head of Construction at both Richmond upon Thames and St Helens Colleges.An External Verifier for City & Guilds, Rob also supported development of the initial Plumbing NVQ's.Rob has been a member of the British Association of Construction Heads (BACH) and was President of the National Association of Plumbing Teachers.
