Live a greener, more independent life with solar & storage from Naked. We are 100% impartial & we never take commission, so we are free to give you an informed choice through accurate predictions on returns from all solar manufacturers.

In 2022, we won National Solar PV Installer of the Year for the second time. Due to the huge rise in demand caused by rocketing energy bills, we’ve more than doubled the size of our team in the past year to bring waiting times down.

Why we went naked and hope you will, too

Until April 2017, we were called Cornwall Solar Panels. It served us well. It said what we did and where we came from. But it didn’t really tell people what we believed.

Since we started in 2010, we have stuck to some core principles that we hope have served you well:

Always tell you the facts. It is the only way you can make informed decisions.
Never take commission. It is the only way we can stay 100% impartial.
Always improve. It is the only way to make sure our service is as good as it can be.

We have been installing solar PV systems since 2010 and always focused on improving the quality of our service from first call to install. Our aim is to provide a fully informed choice, which involved hard work to ensure we are up to date with all the products in our new and growing industry.

In 2016 we were named the UKs Best Solar PV Installer and came 2nd in 2017, directly because of our approach in an industry which, to be honest, has had a bit of a trust problem in the past. Inspired, our aim was to power everything, everywhere – your homes, your businesses, your cars – across the nation.

Which sadly meant we had outgrown our name. We wanted a single word that represented all we believe: energy in its rawest, natural form; catching the rays; helping you live a more independent life, powered by the sun. The only way to keep doing that, was to stay transparent in everything we do, all the time. To provide a solar energy installation service which covered nothing up. So we chose NAKED.
