Logicor

Marcus Fookes Has worked within the energy efficiency industry for over 30 years. I was an operations manager for British Gas New Energy across the south of uk between 2010 to 2016, then started a business and was a director for Aspire Home Solutions uk ltd which provided solutions for for properties suffering problems from poor retrofits. After a successful meeting with the BBA the business was then taken over by them and became the Head of Business Development for BBA-CIT a subsidiary of the BBA. Currently working with Logicor CH Ltd as Head of Business Development who have developed any extremely smart and efficient infrared heating system.

Dani Putney

NICEIC

Dani Putney has over 14 years’ experience in the Building Engineering Services Sector, working within a leading Certification Body providing UKAS accredited certification services. She has held several positions within Certsure (NICEIC and ELECSA) and is currently responsible for ensuring that accreditation is maintained for the Group’s activities. She represents Certsure (NICEIC and ELECSA) at various industry committees including Chair of the MCS Competency Working Group, member of PAS2030 Steering Committee and participating in the Each Home Counts Work streams.

John Marchbank

Area Eco

John has 27 years experience within the Energy Supply Industry. He trained Frontline Customer Service staff on billing and account issues and has worked as a Customer Services Representative visiting customers in their homes to resolve complicated account issues. Specifically, he has 20 years experience in the Energy Efficiency Sector delivering the various obligations, SoP through to ECO. A qualified Energy Assessment Plan and Site Assessor. Subsequently carried out individual home assessments as well as compiling energy stock databases for several local authorities. As a member of the Fuel Poverty Forum Scotland shaping policies adopted by the Scottish Government in relation to tackling fuel poverty and their participation in carbon reduction initiatives. John developed and implemented several community energy efficiency initiatives with local authorities. One such example lead to the first mass insulation programme on the Island of Isla which resulted in 2/3rds of the homes on the Island receiving insulation. Founding director of the Argyll Lomond & Highlands Energy Agency (ALiEnergy). John has participated in many community events over the years which promoted the efficient use of energy and how the attendees can go about reducing the amount of energy they consume. John has been involved in championing the use of new initiatives and technology. He was involved in two European Union funding projects which consisted of several partners from countries within Europe. The first project was the introduction of white labels for domestic white goods, the second was the introduction of an award winning Scandinavian Heat Pump into Local Authority Housing. John is now Operations Director at Area Eco and has been instrumental in growing the business. As an example of this work he has successful developed & delivered energy efficiency initiatives into the harder to reach BME communities. We have secured funding and have worked alongside a network of trusted individuals in these communities to deliver energy efficiency measures to those who have not always benefited from the mass main stream approaches. John has also built relationships with Registered Social Landlords and provided funding from the obligated suppliers for a range of measures.

Phil Mason

Trustmark

Phil joined TrustMark as the Head of Compliance. He has worked in compliance for over 25 years. Phil was attracted to TrustMark by the ‘once in a generation’ opportunity Each Home Counts has created to build greater consumer confidence and uptake of Energy Efficiency Measures, Retrofit, Repair, Maintenance and Installation in and around the home. During the early 1990’s he first entered the world of compliance by joining CORGI as a Technical Standards Inspector and finished his service as an Operations Manager. He worked for nearly 10 years in the UKs largest business process outsourcing and professional services company and was provided with opportunities to progress his interest in project work, delivering numerous ventures within the energy efficiency and safety arenas. He finally took on the opportunity of heading technical compliance and operations within a major contract for the Health and Safety Executive before joining TrustMark.

Bryan Glendinning

Engenera

Bryan Glendinning – Chief Executive Officer MBA: Engenera Renewables Limited: Bryan, a civil engineer by profession has operated within the heating and insulation industry for the last 20 years and worked as National Installations Manager at EAGA Plc. There he successfully managed the annual delivery of the £350 million Government funded Warm Front scheme, where with his team they drove production to the highest possible delivery level of around 8000 heating and insulation measures per month; as well as improving the Customer Experience, Quality and Safety across all sectors of the industry. Bryan was a member of both the Group commercial board as well as being part of the scheme management board. Bryan’s role on the scheme board was to control the full life cycle of the delivery, from procurement, supply chain, installation, aftercare and maintenance. Bryan is an active figure in the energy efficiency and fuel poverty arena and has historically worked closely with DECC on a number of projects. He was also the Chairman of GAIN the National Network of Installers, guiding and assisting around 3000 installers nationally in the delivery of measures across many technologies. Bryan has also been influencial in the development of both a gas and PV installer network for Engenera’s existing and future delivery platform. As well as being the key player within Engenera for developing the funding platforms that now see Engenera with huge growth opportunities. In recent years Bryan has succesfully completed two major EPC operational contracts for solar PV, the first for Riverside Housing in Liverpool on a contract of 1000 houses and the second for Carillion Energy Services where they carried out a very challenging remedial contract over a National platform on 2500 houses. Bryan is a strong advocate of NEA and the great work they do in the fuel poverty arena and has himself been recognised for the work he does in the fuel poverty sector at the last two years National awards.

Justine Biggs

E.ON Energy Solutions

Justine has over 20 years’ experience in the energy efficiency industry. As a business development and account manager for E.ON’s Obligation Partnership team, she works closely with social housing providers and contractors delivering ECO funded Energy Efficiency projects in the South East, London and the East of England.

Richard Walsh

NQA Certification Ltd

Principal Assessor with NQA since 2007, specialising in environment and energy management systems auditing. He has recently been heavily involved in preparing NQA assessors and clients for the ISO14001:2015 transition. Prior to joining NQA, Richard spent 12 years at environmental charity Groundwork, where has was responsible for environmental management training and consultancy. Whilst at Groundwork he completed his studies to become a Chartered Environmentalist. A mechanical engineer by trade, Richard became a metallurgist in the automotive engineering sector prior to taking on a training and advisory role in the implementation of ISO 9001. In 1994, when the first environmental management system (BS7750) was published, Richard became one of Groundwork’s first EMS advisors and was responsible for the training and mentoring of environmental management graduates.

Maxine Narburgh

Regional Hub Manager, Greater South East Energy Hub

Maxine Narburgh leads the Greater South East Energy Hub providing local capacity support to bring investment into innovative energy infrastructure projects. Before joining the Hub she worked in local government, developing and delivering economic growth and environmental projects. Maxine spent 12 years as the Managing Director of Bright Green, an environmental social enterprise, working with business and communities on low carbon and circular economy initiatives. She was instrumental in setting the standards and securing finance for the first passivhaus building in England and led the first private sector energy efficiency retrofit scheme funded by the Community Saving Energy Programme. Maxine started her career as a Research Associate at the Centre for Social and Economic Research on the Global Environment at the University of East Anglia.
