Award Category Description
This award rewards one exceptional company in the nominated region that is involved with the installation, implementation or maintenance of energy efficient heating systems that meet the Government's definition of Renewable HeatMeasures. These systems include biomass boilers, solar water heating, ground/Air/Water source heat pumps. This award recognises the efforts of fully qualified RHI Installers and contractors that provide excellent customer service, demonstrating a high standard of quality workmanship or best practice within their local community. Works on residential, industrial or commercial properties are all eligible for entry provided they meet the nomination criteria.
Criteria
Nominations for this award are open to any company that meets the following criteria:- The nominated company must be registered with one or more of the following registration bodies: -Ofgem -MCS -TrustMark -REA -GSHPA -WHA -HPA -BDA All engineers working for the company on these systems must be fully qualified (or registered apprentices working under supervision). The organisation must be either based in or have worked on projects within the nominated region. Work carried out in other regions may be used as additional supporting information for nomination, but only work carried out within the region is eligible for inclusion in the main nomination statement. Nominees must provide a clear nomination statement outlining what sets them apart in their field, demonstrating actual energy savings achieved. Customer testimonials and community impact statements are essential. Judges will consider the nature, scale and scope of the work carried out, and a special emphasis will be placed on any successful integration of RHI or any other Local or National Government Energy Efficiency schemes in the nominee's projects. The judges will also look at: - the impact their work has had within the local community; - what their customers and local community have to say about them; - what level of expertise the nominee has
