This award recognises the company whose software application has had a significant impact in the energy efficiency industry

Criteria

Nominations for this award are open to any company that meets the following criteria: It must have provided data management solutions, software packages or IT applications to the energy efficiency industry within the period between January 2023 and March 2024. Providers of software applications for domestic consumers may also be eligible to enter providing the software is being used as a tool to reduce a consumer's energy bills Software developed in previous years is eligible for consideration providing it has been sold specifically, within the period, for the purpose of delivering energy efficiency related outcomes. Nominees must provide a clear nomination statement outlining what sets them apart in their field, demonstrating transparent benefits of their software. Nominees must be able to provide the judging panel with a demonstration of their software. Demonstrations must take place during the month of August 2024. The nominee must be able to provide evidence of a customer who is willing to endorse their work with a favourable testimonial statement. Judges will consider the nature, scale and scope of the organisation, and a special emphasis will be placed on any software being used to deliver the objectives of any national or local government energy efficiency schemes. The judges will also look at: - the impact their software has had within the industry; - what their customers and local community have to say about them as an organisation; and - what level of expertise the nominee has within its organisation.
